Oral Sedation, IV Sedation, Pediatric Sedation
We provide patients with options when it comes to sedation to allow you to have the most positive experience in our care. Dr. Shah's motto is: "Never Fear the Dentist Again!"
Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)
This will help reduce anxiety and you do not need to be accompanied by a caregiver, the effects are completely reversible minutes following the procedure.
Oral Conscious Sedation (Medication taken orally)
You are awake and conscious but your senses are dull and you do not feel pain. You will need someone to bring you and take you home from this type of procedure.
IV Sedation (Medication is administered directly into the blood stream)
You will not feel or be aware of the procedure. You may feel sleepy or groggy after this procedure. You will need someone to bring you and take you home after this procedure.
